Biskut dari Gopeng

Went back to my kampung last weekend. We dropped by a charming old Chinese grocery store in Gopeng. And found these two delightful "biskut kering" of yesteryears.

This, if I'm not mistaken, is known as Biskut Kepala Lutut. Silly name, I know. This is good if eaten while you are having a Kopi O or Teh O. Steaming hot. With loved ones. When I was younger, we used to crush the biscuit before mixing it with grated coconut and lots sugar. Ahh, heaven!

This I do not know the name. Can someone help here? It's coated with sugar and tasted as good.

  1. Aaaaaahhhh yes...Biskut Kepala Lutut...Memang best makan dengan Kopi-O (NOT Necasfe-O and the likes, but authentic Kopi-O kampung)

The other one tu - alamak...tak ingat la pulak the name, but, YES - memang best jugak. Tapi, now ni cannot take too often and too much of it maaa...Health hazard! ;)

Another one - Jacobs crackers yang ada gula tu, dipped into Teh-O panas...

  3. Shana,
Memang best cicah dengan kopi-o pekat. Masa dulu kita beli biskut kati je kan .Mana ada banyak choice macam sekarang ni. Tu yang jadi biskut tu sedap.

  14. Azian, Salam perkenalan. Jalan-jalan cari makan, tersinggah sini. Biskut kepala lutut tu ada jenis yang leper, flat, dipanggil 'biskut tongkat'. Kalau tak silap. yang salut gula tu, biskut keras, dalamnya kosongkan? Ape-ape aje lah!
